We provide storage and handling of empty marine containers at 3 of our conveniently located depots in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

STRUCTURAL REPAIRS
STRUCTURAL REPAIRS
We perform mechanical and structural repairs to containers in accordance with IICL standards. Our depots have designated repair areas, with teams of competent artisans to perform container repairs and re-work programmes. All depots also have designated wash bay areas for the cleaning of containers.
REEFER SERVICES
Our reefer bay facilities are equipped for cold treatment preparation.
We have dedicated CA gassing areas for refrigerated containers and have multiple reefer towers at the various depots. We can also provide vessel spares deliveries, replenishment kits and reefer part sales.
UCD are accredited warranty and service centres for several reefer equipment manufacturers including Star Cool, Daikin, Carrier and Thermo King. In addition, we are a service centre for 3rd party CA supplier, Liventus, in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. We are able to perform CA / STERI preparations on our sites as well.
Our reefer teams can mobilise 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to perform container mechanical repairs, either onboard a vessel or while in-port. Port monitoring services are available in all our centres.

TRANSPORT
We can provide transport for empty and full containers nationally. We now have a transport desk that will receive and execute all transport instructions from our customers.
SECOND HAND CONTAINER SALES
We sell cargo worthy, second hand shipping containers at all three our depot branches in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. This includes shipping containers for both static and in transit storage of goods as well as second hand refrigerated shipping containers for static storage of all perishables.
PARTS SALES
Both our Durban and Cape Town facilities carry a host of spares for various makes of refrigerated containers supplied to the industry.
MINERALS PACKING FACILITY
Our Denver facility is fully equipped to handle over 50 000 mt of minerals, where stockpiles are created and managed for each customer by parcel. The weighing of trucks (first and second weighing) is done on-site. Armed security is on-site 24/7 to ensure limited access to and safety of the cargo at the facility.
WAREHOUSING – CUSTOMS STOPS AND INSPECTIONS
Our Durban facility has a customs-licensed warehouse that can handle border inspections, customs stops and overstays.
STAGING OF FULL CONTAINERS
We provide space for staging of full reefers and dry containers at our Durban and Johannesburg Depots only.
